Who I am

who i am...

I am Alex, mother to a beautiful 5year old, stepmom to a almost 16 year old and soon to be stepmom again to a 18 year old. Oh by the way I am only 29 years old!

Together with my oh so amazing fiancé we have just relocated countries. At this moment we are both stay-at-homes by choice with a little more then expected time on our hands. This is one of the reason for me trying out this blog thing.

I have always been into DIYs, now especially, a new house, garden, pets and my littlest one to entertain, I actually have a reason to try out all the things I've been wanting to create. Actually one of the reasons is to save a bit of money, while doing all the decoration of the house, garden and adapting to our new way of life. 

So all of this gave me the Idea for my very first Blog, "Lexi-Heart-DIYs".

I will be posting all the DIYs I/we create, most of them may not be original Ideas, but I still think sharing them with you all will be fun. It might also be great to have you all comment and share your DIYs, tips and tricks with me.

I previously worked in child care and also lead my own kiddies craft class, so I thought of using that too, I always look for ways to spend time with my little one and she loves to craft and be creative just like her mom, so we will keep you updated on all those projects as well.

As I have mentioned before, both I and my fiancé are at home and while we can afford to both be saty-ins, it does not mean we don't have to stick to a budget. Thats why almost all the DIYs I share with you will be created from recycled materials or stuff I already have in the house.
